Bastille have premiered the B-Side to their upcoming single Oblivion.
Bad News received its first airplay in the UK on Huw Stephens’ BBC Radio 1 show earlier today and will appear on the limited edition 7″ vinyl release of the eighth single from the band’s debut album Bad Blood which reached #1 on the UK chart and #11 on America’s Billboard 200.
One thousand copies of the Oblivion vinyl will be released on 8 September and you can preorder it here.
Bad Blood and it’s subsequent reissue All This Bad Blood have already spawned the hit singles Pompeii, Laura Palmer, Things We Lost In The Fire and Of The Night, and the record also earned the group a Brit Award nomination for Best British Album at the annual 2014 music ceremony.
Frontman Dan Smith announced plans to release one last cut from the record during Bastille’s headline set at Somerset House on 15 July, and the song’s official video, starring Game of Thrones actress Sophie Turner, was premiered on MSN Music last month.
