London Grammar: Wicked Game (Chris Isaak Cover – Live at BBC Maida Vale)

Continuing to gain momentum ahead of the release of their debut album If You Wait and new single Strong next month are London Grammar who yesterday covered Chris Isaak’s Wicked Game during their ‘Live at Maida Vale’ session with BBC Radio 1’s Huw Stevens.

Lead singer’s Hannah Reid’s stirring vocal suits the 1990 #10 hit down to the ground, and the production gets a subtle electronic upgrade whilst remaining true to the atmospheric sound of the original.
