Following on from her performance of the track at this week’s Brit Awards, American pop star Katy Perry has uploaded the Egyptian-themed visual extravaganza for her latest single Dark Horse to her official VEVO account.
Helmed by the powerhouse production dream team that is Max Martin, Cirkut and Dr. Luke and featuring vocals from American rapper Juicy J, Dark Horse was initially unveiled as a promotional single in the run up to the release of Perry’s third studio set Prism in September 2013. A slow burner on the Billboard Hot 100, the track steadily climbed the chart until it reached the summit late last month, giving the Roar singer her ninth US chart topper.
Having already peaked at #10 on the UK singles countdown, the track is currently sitting pretty in the Top 5 on iTunes so expect it to rise further still.
