A ‘director’s cut’ music video for Sia’s contribution to the soundtrack of The Hunger Games: Catching Fire has been unveiled.

Elastic Heart was produced by Diplo and also sees the Australian singer-songwriter teaming up with Canadian R&B artist and producer The Weeknd, who himself has contributed a new song called Devil May Cry to the collection.

The result of the union is riveting. Diplo provides dark, foreboding, mid-tempo beats which provide a backdrop for lyrics about strength and survival with both Sia and The Weeknd’s Abel Tesfaye delivering vocal intensity in spades.

The soundtrack will be released to iTunes on 19 November but both Elastic Heart and Christina Aguilera’s We Remain are available to download now.
