Thomas Fiss is an American singer songwriter who has just released the lead cut from his as-yet-untitled debut album which is set for release later this year.
‘I’ll Never Let You Sleep Alone’ is a beautifully written ballad which made its iTunes debut on 25 March and follows the singer’s last EP ‘Chasing Satellites’ which was released in September 2012.
Previously a member of now defunct music group Varsity Fanclub, Fiss launched his solo career in 2010. His third EP ‘RT’ was written by Ryan Tedder, and the collection was titled after the OneRepublic frontman’s initials.
It’s not a surprise then to hear OneRepublic production influences in ‘I’ll Never Let You Sleep Alone’ but all credit must go to Fiss as it’s his vocal delivery and well-observed lyrics which really drive the benefits of this new piano driven ballad home.
